Milopotamos is not a village, but a beach, and in particular one of the most famous beaches in Greece. Blue flags have been awarded to Milopotamos and it has been photographed by many international magazines.
It is located 58km form Volos and only 7km from Tsagarada, therefore people that stay there, choose Milopotamos to swim.
Milopotamos is a "double" beach, divided by a huge rock with a hole at its centre, which provides protection from the wind and the sun. On this rock, there is also available space for climbing, for the funs of the sport.
Milopotamos is a beach of small pebbles, easy-accessed, with a spacious parking area, while during the summer months it is connected by bus with Tsagarada. At the heart of the touristic period, it is quite probable to have difficulties in finding available space n the beach, since those who choose Mipolotamos for swimming are many.
The real beauty of Milopotamos is revealed from spring to June, which is earlier that the massive arrival of tourists on the beach.
